【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheamountofmoistureincottonbyoven-dryingandisapplicabletorawcotton,cottonstockinprocess,andcottonwaste.1.2Thistestmethodmayalso,byagreement,beusedfordeterminingmoistureinblendsofcottonwithotherfibers.1.3Thistestmethodoffersalternativeproceduresforweighingthedriedspecimens,oneprocedureusinganovenbalance()andtheotherusingadesiccator(9.4).ForothermethodsofdeterminationofmoistureintextilematerialsrefertoTestMethodD2654,whichincludestwooptionsbasedondryinginanoven,andoneoptionbasedondistillationwithanimmisciblesolvent:MethodsD885,TestMethodD1576,TestMethodD2462.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Nootherunitsareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
