【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardforManoeuvringAidsforLowSpeedOperationaddresseslight-dutyvehicles,e.g.passengercars,pick-uptrucks,lightvansandsportutilityvehicles(motorcyclesexcluded)equippedwithsuchMALSOsystems.Itspecifiesminimumfunctionalityrequirementswhichthedrivercangenerallyexpectofthedevice;i.e.,detectionofandinformationonthepresenceofrelevantobstacleswithinadefined(short)detectionrange.Itdefinesminimumrequirementsforfailureindicationaswellasperformancetestprocedures;itincludesrulesforthegeneralinformationstrategybutdoesnotrestrictthekindofinformationordisplaysystem.MALSOsystemsuseobject-detectiondevices(sensors)forranginginordertoprovidethedriverwithinformationbasedonthedistancetoobstacles.Thesensingtechnologyisnotaddressed;however,technologyaffectstheperformance-testproceduressetupinthisInternationalStandard(refertoClause7).Thecurrenttestobjectsaredefinedbasedonsystemsusingultrasonicsensors,whichreflectthemostcommonlyusedtechnologyatthetimeofeditingthisInternationalStandard.Forothersensingtechnologiespossiblycomingupinthefuture,thesetestobjectsshallbecheckedandchangedifrequired.Visibility-enhancementsystemslikevideo-cameraaidswithoutdistancerangingandwarningarenotcoveredbythisInternationalStandard.Reversingaidsandobstacle-detectiondevicesonheavycommercialvehiclesarenotaddressedbythisInternationalStandard;requirementsforthosesystemsaredefinedinISO/TR12155.
